The little church “Madonnina di Mezza Campagna” is located in the middle of the country. Built before the end of 1200s, consists of a single nave with a gabled facade and trussed roof. The neglect over the years and some structural works did not alter the simplicity and linearity of the original structure.
On the walls was found an important cycle of frescoes, work of itinerant painters who, in the twelfth, fourteenth and fifteenth century depicted sacred and devotional scenes of immediate understanding, very close to the popular religious sensibility of the time.
