Romanesque Church of Santa Maria in Cavriana
With the typical brick and stone walls, it dates back to the eleventh century. Inside there are traces of frescoes of the XII-XIV century. The building culminates with three apses: in the central one is set a Gothic sculpture of the Madonna della Misericordia, of the first half of the fifteenth century. The Church is certainly one of the most striking religious buildings of the whole province also offering, from the top of the hill, a stunning view that extends up to the Apennines of Emilia.
