The simple things are those with the greatest effect: some benches on the grass, the pleasure of being with friends, background music and good wine. Meeting in Olfino, a small hamlet of Monzambano, during the third weekend of July means just that: simplicity.

Every year, in Parco Papa Giovanni Paolo I, is held the traditional and beloved Grilled Chicken Feast. The “polastrel su la gradela” is nothing but grilled chicken, but cooked and seasoned with a secret recipe and appreciated by all as a delicacy. On the tables there are also other traditional dishes such as riso alla pilota (rice with sausage), bigoli con le sarde (fresh pasta with sardines), grilled meat or seared horse. Everything is served with the excellent wine of the hills.
