The recipe passed down from generation to generation for over 450 years is the real ingredient of this delicious cake of San Biagio, the typical cake of Cavriana. You can come and try it during the first weekend of February, in occasion of the saint patron fair, which takes place in the center of the ancient village.
For several years now, the Ancient Fair of San Biagio has also been hosting DULCISSIMA, an event dedicated to handmade traditional sweets, where food is emotion and memory of our past. In this flavour fair, held in the eighteenth century Villa Mirra, you can find, besides sweets, main dishes, cheese, wines and spirits, to discover millennial habits that here are still alive. Along with the tastings, the fair offers conferences on topics such as typicality and tourism promotion. It can be a great day to spend with the family and children, as there are a lot of different activities.
