A 3-day event, held for the first time on 20, 21 and 22 September 2013, that resulted in the historic center of Castel Goffredo hosting more than 80 events spread over 10 squares, performed by young people between 18 and 35 years old. More than 300 artists and volunteers came from all over Italy to give their enthusiastic contribution to an initiative that welcomed more than 5,000 spectators.
GAP Festival promotes the youth as a reference point for the community, the real leader of cultural and social actions. It supports the active participation of young people as a resource in the organization of initiatives that trigger development and social innovation.
GAP Festival made strong synergies between the members of the community of Castel Goffredo: it is linked to the parish, the town council, the many different associations in the area, merchants and citizens for the purpose of promoting moments of relationship and exchange that cannot but improve the local cohesion.
